Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Stuck ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our desktop application and related services.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address and a hashed password.
• Conversations: messages you send and AI responses you receive, stored to provide chat history.
• Screenshots: sent to Anthropic for analysis in two cases — (a) when you explicitly attach one to a chat message, and (b) when you enable the optional Pro feature "HUD reader", which periodically captures your screen (default every 60 seconds, only while a supported game is detected). Screenshots are processed in real time and are NOT stored on our servers after the response is generated. HUD reader is disabled by default and can be turned off in Settings at any time.
• Usage data: daily request count for free-tier quota enforcement.
• Billing information: handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor); we never see your full card details.

How We Use Information

• To authenticate you and provide the service.
• To send your prompts to Anthropic (Claude) and Voyage AI (embeddings) so they can return AI responses.
• To enforce free-tier daily limits and Pro subscription status.
• To improve the service and fix bugs.

Third Parties We Share Data With

• Anthropic: processes your messages and screenshots to generate AI responses (privacy policy).
• Voyage AI: generates vector embeddings for retrieval-augmented generation (privacy policy).
• Lemon Squeezy: processes payments and subscriptions (privacy policy).
• YouTube (Google): when you use Video search mode, your refined query is sent to the YouTube Data API.
• MongoDB Atlas: hosts our database (privacy policy).

Data Retention

Account data and conversation history are retained until you request deletion. Screenshots attached to messages are not stored after the AI response is generated.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hermanoslp.hlp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and Tracking

The app uses local storage on your device to keep your auth token and preferences. We do not use third-party trackers or analytics.

Children

Stuck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
